Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition

I am very excited to be able to share with you all my projects that I will be entering to the G45 Audition and I had so much fun altering and creating all this projects. I used some projects that I created in the past and I am very proud of them and really Love the way they all came out. I hope that you can enjoy them and leave me a comment of what you think, I love to read all your comment, they are all very appreciated. Thank you all and wish me luck!!

For the Audition I decided to alter a paper mache dress form that I found at Hobby lobby, it measures about 20 inches tall and I added a wood candle holder for the stand. I used the Ladies Diary paper collection to make the top part of the dress form and the flowers as well, and used some of the images from the paper collection as embellishments. For the skirt of the dress I used a huge piece of a wedding dress that I recycled and I thought it would be perfect for this project.
For the waist I used G45 Stamped Geometric Metal Door Plate and twisted it to fit tight and adhered it with E600 to create a belt and in the front I adhered another metal piece from Tim Holts with the word Ladies from the paper collection, I added two porcelain roses on each side of the metal frame piece to add some interest and dabbed vintage white acrylic paint to the metal pieces with a dry brush to distress them just a little. The knobs were used in the shoulder area were I will be hanging some of my jewelry and distressed them as well. I made a teal blue pearl necklace to help pop some of the blue from the flowers that I made with the ladies diary paper collection and I feel likt it ties everything together very nicely.

For the back of the dress form I used a small picture frame and distressed it with gesso, vintage white acrylic pain, and gold rub and buf, and added some metal embellishments, I added an image from the paper collection and white washed it with gesso and adhered it to the back of the dress form with E6000. I love to add bling and distress everything and I love how shabby this project came out. I really hope you all enjoyed this project, i had so much fun creating it!! :)

Here are the five projects I would like to use and I  just love them all :)

This is a layout That I created for the Heartfelt creation Design team.

I used a photo of my son on this layout and I made the flowers here, just wanted it to be a simple elegant layout.

This is a card that I created for a friend and I just wanted her to know that I was thinking about her, I love to include fabric and seam binding to my projects, they give such a delicate feel to projects in my opinion.

This card I created for the Heartfelt Creations Design Team during the Holidays and I just love the way it turned out :)

Finally but not least this is a paper mache book box that I altered for my desk and it holds all my pencils and pens. I love to use all kinds of items to add texture and a unique look to all my projects and it is so much fun to play and discover while you create all kinds of beauty.

Thank you all for staying with me and for letting me share with you all my creations, I really hope you have enjoyed your visit :)

Hugs, Letty
