HCPC 3389 Sentiments For Mom PreCut Set
Other Products:
Doilies, Trims, Pearl Sprays,Tear Drop Crystals, Seam Binding, Scotch Liquid Adhesive, and StazOn Jet Black Ink.
Instructions:
Using your Gift Assamble die, run it through your machine four (4) times using your favorite Sun Kissed Paper sheet or in this case I used white card stock. Fold along the scored lines that the die makes for you, fold the flaps down and the lace like borders up.To put the box together use your favorite liquid adhesive on each of the lace like borders, and adhere them together making sure you have the lace border lined, and now all you have to do is to interlock the bottom flaps on the bottom. I cut out four (4) pieces of the paper collection for each side of the box and distressed the edges to add interest to the box. Make your fabric flower using anything you like doilies, crochet trim, eyelet lace, anything your heart desires, once you have your flower done use the biggest tag die form the Decorative Flower Pot Die and run it though your machine to cut it out, use stazon black ink to stamp Mom from the Sentiments for Mom PreCut Set unto the tag. Adhere the fabric flower and tag to one of the flaps along with some seam binding and scraps of fabric you have left. For the decorative swirls on each side I used four (4) leaf swirl from the Decorative Flower Pot Die, and you are done! I had so much fun putting this box together :) super easy and fast! Perfect for that small special gift :) Hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.

Once you have all your flowers and leaves ready use your hot glue to adhere them to the box, add spanish moss and baby's breath as a filler. To the bottle cap use a 1/2 circle puch to punch out a flower image from the paper collection and use your glossy accents to adhere it, then pour some on the to of the cap, adhere your lace and make a double bow with the seam binding and hot glue it to the front of the box with the cameo covering the knot. Ink the edges of the box with a sponge using the Close to my Heart Lagoon ink and when dry dab gesso to the edges with fingers. Hope you have enjoyed this project:)

Heartfelt Creations Semi-Finalist Entries
I am so excited to be on the semi-finalist for Heartfelt Creations :) and had so much fun playing with the awesome goodies sent to me on the semi-finalist kit. I decided to create a layout and alter a cigar box for my entries, I do hope you enjoy them and vote for me :) Thank you all so much for all your support and love!
| Cigar Box Top and Side View I used and old picture frame I had in my stash to create a shadow box for the top and adhered it with E600 and hot glue. Do you see the Cheese cloth peaking out? |
TOP VIEW For the Inside of the little shadow box I fussy cut some of the Beautiful Images from the paper collection and mounted them on foam board for dimention. The sentiment is from the paper collection as well and I distressed the edges and dabbed gesso with a sponge. I added cheese cloth to the background and Spanish moss and dabbed gesso as well. Look at those photo corners! they are so beautiful !! I love how this box turned out and wish I could keep it but It will be on its way to Heartfelt Creations very soon :) Please do not forget to vote for me! You can vote for me at Heartfelt Creations Blog
When you vote, you will also be entered into a drawing to be eligible to win a $50 HC Gift Certificate. You can only vote one time and you have to select 5 or more to be eligible to participate. Voting ends on April 13th, 2013

I FEEL LIKE A LITTLE BIRD WITH A BIG SONG
I wanted to alter something to add to my spring decor for my home and I found a small picture frame that I had purchased from Michael's a while back from the dollar bin, I thought it would be perfect! I made the box out of foam board and used liquid adhesive to put it together and pins to make it more sturdy. Once the glue was dry I added paper from the pink paislee, london market collection with modge podge. I also used gesso and vintage white acrylic paint to distress the box.I love the way it turned out!
