Heartfelt Creations DT Project

Hi Everyone,
We are pleased to introduce the Sun Kissed Fleur Collection. This collection includes 2 dies: the Gift Ensemble die (yes, you can make a fancy box with this die!) and the Sun Kissed Fleur die which cuts out 10 different flowers at a time. How's that for value?
The paper collection, called Sun Kissed Collection, comes in vibrant aquas and oranges and fades to light greens and yellows. You also have a wonderful selection of floral stamps to choose from: fancy tags, an overflowing basket, beautiful patterned backgrounds, borders and corners. Buy it now
Leave a comment on the Heartfelt Creations blog by May 14th and you will be eligible to win the entire release valued at $180.91
We are also doing a cross promotion blog hop with Paper Temptress today. They have a fabulous line of great quality cardstock that is perfect for cardmaking and scrapbooking, Click Here to follow the hop with their design team.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Measure each side of the box and use your paper trimmer to cut every size of the paper you will be needing to cover each side of the treassure chest. With your scissors distress the edges and use mod podge to adhere the paper to the box, while the mod podge is drying stamp the Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set Stamp onto your favorite White paper from Paper Temptress using the Close to my Heart Lagoon ink and use the cordinating Sun Kissed Fleur Die to cut out the Beautiful flowers, for the leaves of the flowers use the foliage die that is part of the Decorative Flower Pot Die set. Now that all the flowers and leaves are cut use your paper blossoms tools to shape your flowers and leaves to add dimmention and a more natural look, also I added a flat back pearls in the center of each flower. Once you have all your flowers and leaves ready use your hot glue to adhere them to the box, add spanish moss and baby's breath as a filler. I used a pencil to wrap the floral wire around to create curls and placed them in between the flowers and leaves with hot glue. To the bottle cap use a 1/2 circle puch to punch out a flower image from the paper collection and use your glossy accents to adhere it, then pour some on the to of the cap, adhere your lace and make a double bow with the seam binding and hot glue it to the front of the box with the cameo covering the knot. Ink the edges of the box with a sponge using the Close to my Heart Lagoon ink and when dry dab gesso to the edges with fingers. Hope you have enjoyed this project:)

  7. What a gorgeous box, Leticia! It has such a wonderful, Victorian look to it-like something that would have been sitting on my grandmother's dresser. Fabulous work!
